Evaluation

What is program evaluation?

Program evaluation is the means to track the work that was done and the impact it had on individuals, your agency, or the broader community.

Our approach to evaluation

At REA, we believe each evaluation requires a thorough understanding of the work that was done, the impact of that work, and continuous efforts to improve that impact.

While often packaged as separate evaluation tasks - process, outcomes, and continuous quality improvement are all necessary and intercorrelated factors for quality evaluation.

Outcome Evaluation

REA outlines clear outcome measures for the population or program of focus.  Our expertise in quantitative data analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling outlines the impact of your work on these outcomes.

Process Evaluation

REA conducts Implementation Workgroup meetings, offering an opportunity to detail and document progress towards program goals, program successes, and program challenges to provide a detailed view of the implementation process. Use of qualitative data analysis helps to integrate population of focus or staff feedback to provide unique perspectives on the data.

Continuous Quality Improvement

REA provides continuous data visualizations of program elements and outcomes. These are routinely reviewed with program managers to identify ineffective program elements, underperforming populations, and devise strategic plans for addressing these issues with program partners.

The integration of these three elements ensures the program is continually improving, and that all outcomes are provided in context of the implementation that occurred.

This allows results to be traced to specific implementation steps, that, regardless of the outcome, there is a clear explanation behind them.
