Felecia Roger Vargas, MPA serves as the Research & Evaluation Project Manager at REA Analytics, where she provides in-depth analysis and statistical modeling. She works closely with project partners to monitor the implementation of federally funded projects, ensuring that stated goals and objectives are achieved.
Felecia brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. She earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology before completing her master's degree in public administration, focusing on leadership, policy implementation, and program development within communities and organizations.
Fluent in five languages, including Russian and Ukrainian, Felecia acquired two of her language skills during her service as a Community Development Specialist Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine. Over the past decade, she has dedicated herself to serving communities in various roles, such as a social worker, Club director at Boys & Girls Club in a middle school, AmeriCorps youth counselor, and various program/project leader, both locally and abroad.
In her most recent role as Humana's Regional Sr. Wellness Program Director, Felecia successfully implemented clinical programs in senior-based clinics from the ground up. Her ability to build strong relationships with local and national program leaders has been instrumental in her career.
Felecia's time abroad has deeply influenced her, fostering a deep appreciation for helping people, maximizing resources, and the value of community bonds. She and her husband proudly call Auburndale, Florida home, where they enjoy travel, reading, volunteering, and cooking together.
